We are sold out of CSA shares for 2024. We could not be more grateful for the overwhelming support we have received from the community. We will begin offering 2025 shares in late September so please be sure to check back then.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is at the heart of flourishing communities: healthy soil, food, people, and relationships. You pay up front for a weekly box of fresh fruit and vegetables (July through October). This is called buying a ‘share.’ The idea is that we share ownership (responsibility) in the production of amazing food. You pick your box size based on how much you plan to eat, or share with your neighbors. You can pick your box up every Wednesday from around the first week of July through October. Pull up to our farm between 2-6 and we’ll be waiting for you. Additional items will be available to purchase at pickup. If you live within one mile of the Fat Donkey Farm we’ll deliver your box to you if you select that option.

One share is designed for the average U.S. household, which according to ‘them’ is 2.5 individuals. About 8 pounds per week of fruits and veggies make up one share.

We also offer half a share and double share options.

Potential items included in your weekly box, depending on the harvest and size of share you purchase, include: apples, apricots, Asian greens, beets, carrots, cherries, cilantro, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, mixed greens, onions, peppers, potatoes, plumbs, radishes, snap peas, spinach, tomatoes, and turnips.

Being a shareholder also gives you priority selection on u-pick pumpkins in the Fall plus advanced notice of Donkey Gear SWAG drops!

Finally, while the spirit of CSA is to share the inherent risk of micro-agriculture, we want you to be completely satisfied and will provide you a refund if we don’t meet your expectations.
